OK Jay,
What's the award and who are the folks with you, oh kilted one?

From Left to Right: Gary Kippen, PSD Commander; Major Dankenbring; Myself; and Tech Sgt. Mattson. The Letter of appreciation was presented on behalf of Major General Gardner, for basically being a good body guard. While off the base, my team is responsible for the wellbeing of the two Majors and the Tech. Sgt. and they are quite happy with still being alive. There is no real story behind the letter; no acts of heroism, or gallant firefights. At the end of the day, a good protection officer is judged by the amount of conflicts he was not involved in. We have an outstanding Team leader, but alas, at this point I cannot post his photo or name. Great leadership accounts for much.
